Five priciest NY homes on market over $22M | Solly Assa

Five pricey apartments ranging from nearly $23 million to $25 million hit the market, significantly higher amounts than in previous weeks.

Combined, the five priciest listings in New York City totaled nearly $120 million. Last week, the combined value of the most expensive five new listings was about $88 million.

Here’s a look at the most expensive listings from Jan. 6 through Jan. 12, according to an analysis of StreetEasy and Compass data.

  1. 70 West 45th Street #PH3 | Midtown | $25 million
     The five-bedroom unit spans the 48th and 49th floors of the Cassa Hotel and Residences, a project of Solly Assa of Assa Properties. Its 360-degree views are complemented by Mahogany-embossed leather floors, etched designer ceilings and hand painted mirrors, according to its listing by Nest Seekers International’s Sebastian Lopera. The location is right near Hudson Yards in Midtown Manhattan. Room service from Butter Restaurant — which is also in the building — and hotel maid service are available.
  2. 885 Park Avenue #PHAB | Upper East Side | $24.5 million
     The sprawling six-bed, six-bath unit was combined from two adjacent apartments to create a 5,600-square-foot home. It also has 3,200 square feet of outdoor space. The home has three gas fireplaces and the master bath has a walk-in shower. Cathy Taub of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing.
  3. 432 Park Avenue #PH81A | Midtown East | $23.75 million
     The three-bedroom unit on the 81st floor has more than 2,600 square feet and 12-foot ceilings. The master bedroom has a marble spa bathroom and heated floors. Mae Bagai of

  4. 53 West 53 #61A | Midtown| $23.29 million
     The 3,670-square-foot three-bedroom is one of a slew of sponsor units at the Jean Nouvel–designed tower that hit the market last week. The half-floor residence has floor-to-ceiling windows. Its interiors were designed by Thierry Despont and the master bathroom is outfitted with Verona limestone floors with marble and golden travertine walls. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the project.
  5. 53 West 53 #60A | Midtown | $22.83 million
     Another three-bedroom sponsor unit from 53 West 53 fills out the week’s top five listings. The luxury building was developed by Hines, Pontiac Land Group and Goldman Sachs’ primary real estate investment group. The listing is with Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
